To Create Copies by Translating
You can create copies of selected entities either by translating (creating linear patterns) or by rotating (creating rotational patterns).
1. Click > > .
2. Pick entities to copy.
3. Click Done Sel on the GET SELECT menu.
4. Indicate the "from" position. The translation vector appears.
5. Indicate the "to" position.
6. Specify the number of copies.
If you specify more than one, a pattern of selected entities is created using the direction and displacement distance specified by the translation vector.
