To Perform a Lifting or a Lowering Analysis

3. From the Initial posture list, select an initial posture for the manikin.
4. From the Final posture list, select a final posture.
5. Type or select values for the parameters relevant to the analysis type:
◦ NIOSH
▪ Frequency—Lift or lower per unit of time.
▪ Grasp quality—How securely the load can be held.
▪ Duration—Length of time the load is lifted or lowered.
▪ Weight—Weight of load.
◦ Snook
▪ Frequency—Lift or lower per unit of time.
▪ Weight—Weight of load.
6. Click Compute.
7. Review the results.
8. Save the analysis or add it to the Model Tree as a feature.
