To Define a Turn Profile by Selecting Surfaces
You can define a Turn Profile by selecting the start and end surfaces on the reference part. The system will then machine these two surfaces and all the surfaces in between. If you want to machine one surface only, select it twice.
1. On the Turn Profile tab, click

.2. Click the Placement tab and specify the reference coordinate system in the Placement Csys collector.
3. In the Surfaces collector, specify the start and end surfaces. An internal cross section of the reference part is created on the XZ-plane of the reference coordinate system and the appropriate chain of entities are selected on this cross section between the start and end surfaces. The Turn Profile is created.
4. If necessary, adjust the curve using the options on the Profile tab.
