When part and assembly models are saved and uploaded as CAD Documents to Windchill server locations from Creo Parametric, system parameters with the attribute values of the CAD Documents or the associated WTParts are generated for the CAD Documents. These system parameters are automatically mapped to the correspondingWindchill system attributes and the system attributes added to the Windchill-managed Creo Parametric models.

In theWindchill connected mode of Creo Parametric, the Workgroup Manager Client preferences control the generation of the system parameters, just as these parameters are generated by other CAD applications that are managed by the Workgroup Manager Client. The Workgroup Manager Client preferences are also related to mapping the system parameters and the corresponding CAD system attributes.

In Creo Parametric, you can click Tools > Parameters and verify the system parameters generated for a server-managed model in the Parameters dialog box. The Parameters dialog box lists the system parameters by their type as strings or integers and their values. These parameters are not designated and their access is locked.

The following system parameters are added by default to the server-managed models:

• PTC_WM_PART_NUMBER

• PTC_WM_PART_NAME

• PTC_WM_NAME

• PTC_WM_NUMBER

The full set of system parameters that are generated for the server-managed Creo Parametric models and the corresponding Windchill CAD Document system attributes or the related Windchill preferences are as follows.

PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE_STATE	CAD Document Life Cycle State System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the life cycle state of the CAD Document.
PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE	CAD Document Life Cycle System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the life cycle of the CAD Document.
PTC_WM_NAME	CAD Document Name System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's Name.
PTC_WM_NUMBER	CAD Document Number System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's Number.
PTC_WM_LAST_CHANGE_NOTE	Change Note Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the text added to the last check in.
PTC_WM_CREATED_BY	Created By Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the name of the user that created the CAD Document.
PTC_WM_CREATED_ON	Created On Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the date and time that the CAD Document was created.
PTC_WM_IS_DRAWING	Drawing System Attribute	Identifies the name of the attribute that determines if an NX part is a drawing.
PTC_WM_IS_ASSEMBLY	Assembly System Attribute	Identifies the name of the attribute that determines if an NX part is an assembly.
PTC_WM_MODIFIED_BY	Modified By Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the name of the user that last modified the CAD Document.
PTC_WM_MODIFIED_ON	Modified On Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the date and time that the CAD Document was last modified.
PTC_ORGANIZATION_ID	Organization ID System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's organization ID.
PTC_WM_PART_NAME	Part Name System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's owner associated Part Name.
PTC_WM_PART_NUMBER	Part Number System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's owner associated Part Number.
PTC_WM_PART_REVISION_FOR_DRAWING	Part Revision Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the revision of the part associated with the drawing.
PTC_WM_PART_STATE_FOR_DRAWING	Part State Attribute	Identifies the name of the property that shows the life cycle state of the part associated with the drawing.
PTC_WM_REVISION	Revision System Attribute	Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows the CAD Document's Revision.
