To Recalculate the Validation Score of an Imported Model
1. Right-click an imported part or assembly model on the Model Tree and click Import Validation > Report on the shortcut menu. The Import Validation Report opens.
2. Verify the validation of the assembly or part and the model import status that is indicated by the Import Status icon.
3. Click the Properties tab to verify the values of each validation property in the source and the imported models and their import status.
4. Click Settings. The Import Validation Settings dialog box opens.
5. Click Reset on the Import Validation Settings dialog box.
6. Edit the tolerance values of all or any of the validation properties according to the maximum tolerance allowed for each property in Max tolerance.
7. If the severity of the failure to import a property is set as Error in In case of failure, reset the severity to Warning or Ignore.
8. Select the Status to Warning if property not available check box to set a warning for a validation property that is missing in the model.
9. If model errors such as failure to solidify or import display severity as Error in In case of failure, reset the severity to Warning or Ignore.
10. Click Save to save the current import validation settings. The Save settings file dialog box opens and you can save the settings to a file named config.val in the workspace or any other location.
11. To use an existing config.val file with the import validation settings, click Load. The Open settings file dialog box opens and you can browse and select the existing config.val file.
12. Click OK on the Import Validation Settings dialog box. The import validation score of the model is automatically recalculated and updated.
