To Select the Parent Node
Select a surface or datum, right-click, and click Select parent node.
Import DataDoctor selects the node that the surface or datum node directly belongs to on the Geometry and Topology Structure Tree.

The GTS tree may have a multi-level, complex structure. A surface may belong to a lower level of a multi-level base node branch. After the first Select Parent operation, if the parent is not a base-level node, you can continue to right-click and click Select parent node without further graphical selections to navigate up through the structure to the base-level node.
