2. To create a new simplified representation while defining a step, double-click the Simplfd Rep line and then click Define in the STEP: <OptionName> dialog box. The Simplified Rep dialog box opens.

3. Click Properties. The Properties dialog box opens.

4. Select a component and use the options at the top of the dialog box to define it.

5. Continue to select and define the components as needed. When the definition process is complete, click List. A list of all the components in the simplified representation opens.

6. Click Edit > Save to save the changes to a new simplified representation. The Save Display Elements dialog box opens.

7. Type a name for the new simplified representation or accept the default name.

8. Choose the simplified representation type and set properties.
