To Add a Module Variant to a Configurable Module
1. Open a configurable module or create a new one.
2. To add an existing component, click Add Module Variant. The Open dialog box opens.
3. Select the component to add and click Open. A new variant is added to the configurable module.
4. To create a component in the context of the module, click Create Module Variant. The Create Component dialog box opens.
5. Select a Type and Sub-type from the lists. Click a Related Link below for more information on creating different subtypes.
6. Click OK. The Creation Options dialog box opens.
7. Select the Creation Method and browse to select a part or assembly to use as a template.
8. Click OK. The new module variant is added.
