To Set Options for Data Sharing Features and Update Control

3. Modify Data Sharing Features creation options:
◦ Layout features update (new_layout_feature_update_state)—Sets the update relative to the source layout for newly created layout features.
▪ Update automatically—Updates the layout feature when the source layout is updated and in session.
▪ Update manually (default)—Allows manual update of the layout feature when the source layout is updated and in session. Click the Provide outdated notification (
) check box to display the icon next to the layout feature icon when the source layout is updated and in session.

4. Modify Update Control and Data Sharing Features options:
◦ Retrieve Data Sharing Feature reference model (retrieve_data_sharing_ref_parts)—Sets retrieval of a data sharing feature reference model. This option affects data sharing features set to automatic or manual with notification update.
▪ Yes—Prompts the user to accept each referenced part during the retrieval.
▪ No—Ignores referenced parts in the retrieval.
▪ Ignore Missing—Skips any missing referenced part, sends a message to that effect, and continues the retrieval process.
◦ Allow individual update control for children when updating a layout feature check box (individual_child_update)—Opens the Individual Update Control dialog box.
