To Create a New Appearance State

1. In an open assembly, click

. The View Manager dialog box opens.

2. Click Appearance.

3. Click New. A default name for the new Appearance state appears.

4. Press ENTER to accept the name or type a new name. The appearance state is active.

5. Click Appearances on the Model tab or the View tab and use the Appearance Gallery options to set the appearance of assembly components.

6. The Appearance is saved with the assembly.
