To Set Drag Preferences for Placing Components
1. Click File > Options > Assembly The Creo Parametric Options dialog box opens.
2. In the Component dragging settings area, select any or all of the options for dragging components being placed.
Snap dynamically to the constraint while dragging—Dynamically snaps to a constraint while you drag a component.
Modify offset dimensions while dragging—Modifies offset dimensions while dragging.
Add offset dimensions to constraints initially created without offsets—Adds offset dimensions to Distance or Angle Offset constraints initially created without offsets.
Snap during free form movement—Enables snapping during freeform movement.
Snap to a single reference at a time—Enable snapping to one reference at a time when dragging a component during placement.
Set distance tolerance for snap to occur—Sets the distance needed for a snap to occur. The default value is 0.100000 (units are a fraction of the screen size).
Set angle tolerance for snap to occur—Sets the minimum angle needed for a snap to occur. The default value is 30.000000 (units are degrees).
