To Replace a Connector Element with a Copy of Itself
1. Select the connector or equipment element to replace by following either of the methods listed below:
◦ Click Framework and then in the Components group, click > 
Replace Component. Select the connector or the equipment element to replace.
Replace Component. Select the connector or the equipment element to replace.◦ In the model, select the connector or equipment element to replace. Click Framework and then in the Components group, click > Replace Component or on the mini toolbar click .
Replace Component or on the mini toolbar click .The Copy Component Definition dialog box opens.
2. In the Copy Component Definition dialog box, you can change names as described below:
◦ In the Name box, you can change the name of the copied component.
◦ Under Components, you can select a check box under Copy and then change the name for the selected subcomponent.
3. Click OK to complete the copy and replace process.
