Assignment of Inheritance Feature Annotations to Combined States Is Improved in Model-Based Definition
Models are analyzed during retrieval to identify unstable annotation assignments.
Release: Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier releases, annotations that are assigned to the combination states from Inheritance features, are not assigned in a stable manner. This sometimes results in the incorrect appearance of annotations or in annotations not appearing. In Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0, models are analyzed during retrieval to identify unstable annotation assignments. If Creo identifies a removed annotation, it assigns its back to the combination states to which is was originally assigned. The annotations are assigned in Erased state to preserve the last–saved display state. An information file listing the resumed annotations, based on these combined states for the model, is created in the working directory. Annotations are assigned in a stable manner which leads to consistent display in combinations states.
