Notification of Maintenance Releases
When a maintenance release is available, you are notified when you open the Creo application.
User Interface Location: Click File > Options and in Windows Settings, select the Let me know when a new version is available check box.

In earlier releases, the availability of a maintenance release is not always obvious. In Creo 6.0.0.0 you are notified about the availability, when you open your application. The notification appears in a message that provides the following information:
• Top 3 improvements in the release
• Link to the Read This First for the release
• Link to the web installer
To see notifications, click File > Options and in Window Settings, select the Let me know when a new version is available check box. To turn the notification off for the current release, simply select the check box in the message.
Improved awareness of the availability of a maintenance release helps you to take advantage of your subscription license.
