What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier releases of Creo, Java is automatically installed with the installation of the Creo application, forcing you to upgrade your version of Java. In Creo 6.0.0.0 Java is not installed, and you can use your existing installation of Java. This simplifies the installation.
If your version of Java is out of date, then a message appears during the installation. The message notifies you that your version of JRE (Java run time environment) is out of date and recommends installing the latest version to optimize performance.
