Stochastic Lattices Are Available in Additive Manufacturing
Beam-based stochastic lattices are available.
User Interface Location: Click Model > Engineering > Lattice. For Lattice type, select Beams and then in the Cell Type tab, select Stochastic from the Cell shape box.
Release: Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
You can create conformal lattices. These are formed by beams on the bounding surfaces for the part. You can also create a foam type of interconnected beam lattices. Stochastic lattices provide an alternative to the uniformly distributed lattice, so that sandwich-type structures are better filled. The creation of lattice geometry then conforms to the part geometry.

Additional Information
Tips:
None.
Limitations:
In Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0, this functionality is supported only for a simplified lattice representation. This functionality works with beam-based lattices that are random in nature.
Does this replace existing functionality?
No.
Configuration options associated with this functionality:
None.
