What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier releases, there is little flexibility to support cell types that you create. In Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0 you can create a lattice, based on a Creo part file, where the cross sections of opposite faces of a cube are the same, and the geometry is a full boundary representation (BREP). This gives you the flexibility to define your own cell types.
Additional Information
Tips:
None.
Limitations:
The geometry should be a boundary representation (BREP), placed inside a cube, and the cross sections on opposite faces should be equal.
Does this replace existing functionality?
No.
Configuration options associated with this functionality:
None.
