BETA: Slicing for 3D Printing in Additive Manufacturing
A BETA version of slicing for 3D Printing is available for testing. Create a file containing slices that are needed for printing.
User Interface Location: When in a tray assembly, click Preview 3D Printing > Slice model > Slice.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In 3D printing use Slice to create a file which contains all slices needed for printing. CLI (common layer interface) files are created and then used for 3D printing. The CLI format is widely used by metal printers to produce parts created in additive manufacturing. This improves the printability of geometry created in Creo and increases the coverage of printers you can use for printing.
