What is the benefit of this enhancement?
When designing for additive manufacturing, defining the build direction is the first step in the process. In Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0, use Build Direction to quickly analyze the best positioning of the part on a theoretical build tray. Later, the CSYS that is defined is automatically propagated when creating the lattices inside the part, and then when placing this part on the tray assembly. This reduces support structures, material used, printing time, and the removal of supports in post processing. It improves the printability of any geometry created in Creo.
