Multicomponent Mixing using a Nozzle: Exercise 4—Specifying Volume Conditions
For boundary conditions, the fluid behavior and properties are specified at all bounding surfaces of the fluid domain.
1. Under Domains, select MIXING_NOZZLE_2_FLUID.
2. In the Model tab, for Common, select the following values for the options listed:
Component CH4Ideal Gas Law
Minimum Pressure — 10
Molecular Weight — 16
Component O2Ideal Gas Law
Minimum Pressure — 10
Molecular Weight — 32
Component H2OIdeal Gas Law
Minimum Pressure — 10
Molecular Weight — 18
3. In the Model tab, for Multicomponent Mixing, select the following values for the options listed:
For Mixture, set Viscosity to Kinetic Theory.
