To Join Mesh Elements
1. Create or import a shape.
2. Do one of the following:
◦ Select a face or an edge on one side of the control mesh. Hold down the CTRL key, and select a face or edge on the other side of the control mesh.
◦ Select a chain of faces or edges on one side of the control mesh. Hold down the CTRL key and select a chain of faces or edges on the other side of the control mesh.
◦ Select one of the following—two vertices of an edge, a single edge, or a single face of a shape.
3. The first selection remains fixed whereas the second selection moves to join the first selection. Click the arrow next to Connect and click Join. Alternatively, right-click the graphics window and click . The selected pairs of faces or edges are joined.
