To Create a Beam Release

Creo Simulate > Modeling Structure and Thermal Problems > Properties > Beam Releases > To Create a Beam Release

1. Click Refine Model. Click the arrow next to

Beam. Click

Beam Releases. The Beam Releases dialog box opens

You can also access this dialog box by clicking the More button in the Release area of the Beam Definition dialog box.

2. Click the New button. The Beam Release Definition dialog box opens.

3. Enter a name for the beam release or accept the default name.

4. Optionally, enter a description.

5. Select the degrees of freedom you want to release by toggling on any of the Translation or Rotation buttons.

6. Click OK to complete the definition.
