To Create a Custom System of Units
This procedure assumes you are working in Creo Parametric.
1. Click
File >
Prepare >
Model Properties. The
Model Properties dialog box opens.
2. Click change adjacent to Units. The Units Manager dialog box opens.
To open the Units Manager dialog box in Creo Simulate Standalone click Home > Set Up > Units.
3. Click
New. The
System of Units Definition dialog box opens.
4. Type a name for the new system or use the default name.
|  In an MLT system of units, the units of force depend on the units of mass, length and time through the relation that force equals mass times acceleration. In an FLT system of units, the units of mass depend on the units of force, length and time through the same relation. |
6. Select a length unit from the Length option list.
7. Select a mass or force unit from the Mass or Force option list.
8. Select a time unit from the Time option list.
9. Select a temperature unit from the Temperature option list.
10. Click OK. The Units Manager dialog box opens with the name of your custom system of units displayed in the list of systems.
