To Set a Current View
The current view in the drawing is indicated with a yellow dashed box if 2D Views in the Environment menu is selected. When you add a view, it does not automatically become current. To specify the view to which all new entities are to belong, you must set it using Set Cur View in the Views or Draft menu.
1. Click Set Cur View on the DRAFT or VIEWS menu.
2. Click Set Current on the CURRENT VIEW menu.
3. Pick the view that you want to set. The dashed box, indicating the view, turns yellow.
4. Click Unset Cur on the CURRENT VIEW menu to unset the current view. The yellow dashed box, indicating the view, turns gray.
