Selecting the dimensions
After selecting the measurement references, all of the candidate dimensions for the first dimension of the dimension loop are displayed. In this case, you see the dimensions of the bearing that are along the measurement direction and whose endpoint is aligned to the selected surface.

* Redisplaying the candidate dimensions: During the dimension selection process, the candidate dimensions for the active part are automatically displayed. You can change active parts by clicking on a new part. If you don’t see the expected dimensions, the wrong part may be the active part. In this case, click the part from which you need to select dimensions.
1. Select the bearing width (.551±.003).
No more dimensions from the bearing are required.
2. Set view in Creo Parametric to the ISO saved view.
3. Click the shaft to display the candidate dimension for that part. Note that you must select an actual part surface rather than selecting the cross-sectional plane.
4. Select the dimension between the bearing shoulders (8.240±.005).

* Unselecting dimensions: If you accidentally select the wrong dimension, you don’t have to start over. During dimension selection, select Cancel in the Creo ParametricSelect menu. You can resume the selection by clicking on in the Tolerance Analysis window.
No more dimensions from the shaft are required.
5. Click the left bearing to display the candidate dimension for that part.
6. Select the bearing width (.630±.003).
No more dimensions from the bearing are required.
7. Click the left end cap to display the candidate dimension for that part.
8. Select the bearing bore depth (.680±.005).
