TEMPLATE_DATUM_PLANES (Datum Plane Check Based on Template Files)
Y/N/E/W
This check ensures that the orientation of the datum planes that are defined in the model are checked with reference to the standard datum planes defined in the start part and start assembly templates. You can use the following start part and start assembly templates in the .mcs start configuration file:
• PRT_TEMPLATE part_tmp.prt
where part_tmp.prt is the name of the start part template.
• ASM_TEMPLATE asm_temp.asm
where asm_temp.asm is the name of the start assembly template.
You can type the values in a text editor or use the Link to Template File start configuration option in the ModelCheck Configuration Tool to update the start configuration file.
When you run the TEMPLATE_DATUM_PLANES check, the Creo ModelCHECK report displays a list of datum planes with incorrect orientation. Click the Highlight button to highlight the incorrectly oriented datum planes in the model.
