To Run RuleCHECK
To use RuleCHECK when working on a Creo model, simply follow the following steps:
1. Click File > Prepare > ModelCHECK Rule Check.
In the Drawing mode, click the Review task tab and select ModelCHECK Rule Check from the overflow buffer of the Check group.
The PTC ModelCHECK RuleCHECK report page is displayed. The page displays two rules Soft and Hard. It also displays the model name. You can click the model name to view the following information about the model.
◦ Date—The date on which you run RuleCHECK.
◦ Mode—The mode is RuleCHECK.
◦ Checked by—Name of the person who runs the check.
◦ Model Type—Name of the rule file.
2. Click the Soft tab.
3. Click the rule from the Name of Rule area, to read the description of the rule.
4. Click the Hard tab.
5. Click the rule that you want to apply from the Name of Rule area.
6. Click Complete to sign off after checking that the model conforms to all the rules specified in the rule file. Type a comment in the comment window with the reason for accepting the rule.
Click Override if you want to sign off even if the model does not conform to the rules. Type a comment in the comment window with the reason for overriding the rules.
7. Click OK.
