To Display Tool Path
To Display Tool Path for an Operation:
When you display tool path for an operation, only steps that are completely defined are included.
1. Select the operation or step line in the Process Table.
2. Click on the bottom toolbar. The PLAY PATH dialog box opens.
3. Use the PLAY PATH dialog box buttons and commands to display the tool path.
4. Click Close to return to the Process Table.
To Display Tool Path of a Step:
1. Click a step from the Model Tree.
2. Select Display NC Tool Path from the mini toolbar. The tool path is highlighted in the graphics window. The option remains selected until you clear it.
 
* When you display the tool path of a step or an operation using the Display NC Tool Path command, the tool path information is retrieved from .tph file. If the tool path is not played or calculated, it is not stored in .tph file and only entry and exit paths are displayed when you select a step or an operation. To save the tool path information in .tph file, play the path using the PLAY PATH dialog box and save the assembly.
To Show the NC Reference Used in a Step:
1. Click a step from the Model Tree.
2. Select Show NC Reference from the mini toolbar. The machining reference used for the step is highlighted in the graphics window. The option remains selected until you clear it.
 
* You can display the tool path or NC reference of steps that are created using a tab and not using menus.
