The Replace Ref Model command on the NC MODEL menu lets you replace a reference model by a member of the same part family. You can create machining features for one member of the family, and then generate tool paths for other members by replacing the reference model and regenerating the manufacturing model.

When you replace a reference model and regenerate the stock, the tool paths and material removal are updated according to the new model. You can now output the NC or MCD data for machining the new reference model.
