To Embed or Extract a Sublayout
Before performing this procedure, make sure to activate the upper-level layout.
1. In the Model Tree, select the sublayout to embed or to extract.
2. Perform one of the following operations:
◦ To embed a sublayout, click
Organize >
Embed. The sublayout keeps its hierarchy in the Model Tree, but it is no longer an independent layout file.
◦ To extract a sublayout, click
Organize >
Extract. The sublayout keeps its hierarchy in the Model Tree. Its main branch appears with the CEM file extension indicting that it is a separate layout file.
