To Create Rectangles or Parallelograms
1. On the Design tab, click the arrow next to Rectangle, and then choose a method of creation:
◦ Click
Corner Rectangle and select a point for the first corner.
◦ Click
Center Rectangle and select a point for the center.
◦ Click
Slant Rectangle and select a point for the first corner.
◦ Click
Parallelogram and select a point for the first corner.
When you select a creation method, the location of the start point is displayed, relative to the base point.
2. To lock the one of the dimensions of the entity you are creating, press Enter or type L. Press Tab to switch to the other dimensions.
3. Depending on the type of rectangle, either drag the corner or rubberband the pointer and select a point to size the rectangle.
4. Select more points as needed to set the length and position.
5. Middle-click to exit the tool.
