To Add a New Sheet to a Drawing
Perform one of the following operations:
• Click
New Sheet on the
Layout tab. A new sheet is added as the last sheet within the current drawing.
• Click
on the Sheets bar. A new sheet is added as the last sheet within the current drawing.
• Select a sheet on the Sheets bar, right-click and click New Sheet on the shortcut menu. A new sheet is added at the end of existing sheets.
A new sheet is named Sheet #, where # is the total count of existing sheets in the drawing incremented by 1. If a sheet with same name as the derived new name exists, the value of # is incremented by 1 until an unused value is reached.
The new sheet is always added at the end of existing sheets within the current drawing, and the new sheet becomes the active sheet.
You can select multiple sheets and create new sheets. The number of new sheets will be equal to the number of sheets selected when executing the New Sheet command. Here, the first newly added sheet becomes the active sheet.
