You can keep note source text files in the working directory or you can set up a separate directory for them using the pro_note_dir configuration option.

You can enter notes from a file that contain dimensions, parameters, special symbols, and superscripted or subscripted text.

To use a text file as a note source, follow the instructions in the topic Creating a Drawing Note, and select File. You are prompted to select a file from a browser to supply the note text.
