Export assembly as
Single File*, Separate Parts, Separate All.
The assembly structure options of Separate Parts and Separate All are available for the ap214_is, ap203_e2, and the ap242 protocols.
Specifies the file structure of the exported assembly models.
Include
Annotations
Available when you set Application protocol to ap214_is, ap203_e2, or ap242.
The export includes 3D model annotations such as GD&T, notes, symbols, and so on.
AP242 does not support the export of assembly-level annotations.
Rich content
Is available when you select Annotations.
Includes rich semantic content when annotations are exported.
Datums
Available for all protocols, but selected by default for the ap214_is, ap203_e2, or the ap242 protocol.
Is selected when Annotations is selected.
The export includes datum points, curves, planes, axes, and coordinate systems in the export of models.
Datums are required for the export of annotations.
Quilts
Is selected by default for all protocols when Annotations is selected.
The export includes quilts.
Facets
The export includes facets.
Hidden entities
Is selected by default for all protocols when Annotations is selected.
The export includes hidden entities.
Cable surfaces
The export includes cable surface geometry.
Parameters
Parameters and Designated only are only available for the ap214_is, ap203_e2, and ap242 protocols.
Is selected when Annotations is selected.
The export includes parameters or value pairs.
intf3d_out_parameters
Designated only
Is available when you select Parameters.
Includes only the designated parameters for export.
Cross sections
Is only available for the ap242 protocol.
The export includes cross-sections.
Advanced > Include
Appearance, layers and groups
The export includes display details such as colors, layers, and groups.
Material definition
Is available for the ap214_is, ap242, ap203_e2, and the ap203_is_ext protocols.
The export includes the material definition that is assigned to the models.
As a separate STEP PRODUCT entity
Is available when you select Material definition.
Defines the material definition of the models as a separate STEP PRODUCT.
Assembly validation information
Is available for the ap203_is_ext, ap214_is, ap242, and the ap203_e2 protocols.
The assembly export includes the component count as a validation parameter.
Entity names derived from IDs
Is only available for the ap214_is, ap242, and the ap203_e2 protocols.
Exports entities that are assigned auto-generated names based on their IDs.
Over-ride with explicit user defined names
Is available when you select Entity names derived from IDs.
Exports entities assigned with user-defined names instead of the auto-generated names based on their IDs.
Extended Datums
Is only available for the ap214_is, ap242, and the ap203_e2 protocols.

Export solids and quilts as
As Is*, Quilts, Surfaces, Wireframe, Surfaces and Wireframe
As Is is the only available value for the ap242 protocol.
When Annotations and Rich content are selected, As Is and Quilts are the only values available for this option.
