To Use the Replace Tool

Import DataDoctor > Geometry Modification Tools > Modifying Surface Boundaries and Curves > To Use the Replace Tool

1. Select one or more contiguous one-sided edges of a single surface. Hold down the CTRL key to select more than one edge. You may also select the entire surface boundary.

2. Click Edit >

Replace or right-click and access Replace on the shortcut menu. The Replace tab opens.

The edge or curves that form the edge are added to the Item to be replaced curves collector in the References tab.

3. Select a 3D or UV curve or a chain of curves that you want to replace the selected edges with. The curves or one-sided edges selected as the replacement are added to the Replace with collector in the References tab.

4. Click

. The UV-curves replaces the edge and the surface is modified according to the new UV-curve.
