Configurations Options for Creo Unite
atb_show_foreign_name
yes*, no
Controls the display of the names of the non-Creo source models as the names of the Translated Image Models (TIMs) on the Model Tree. That is, the file names of the TIM parts and assemblies that are displayed on the Model Tree are based on the names of the non-Creo source models. The TIM parts and assemblies were created by the conversion of the non-Creo models to Creo models.
yes—The Model Tree displays the names of the non-Creo source models as the model names of the TIM parts and assemblies by default.
no—The Model Tree does not display the names of the non-Creo source models as the model names of the TIM parts and assemblies.
confirm_on_edit_foreign_models
yes*, no
Determines whether to open the Confirmation dialog box when you begin to make design changes to the non-Creo components that are assembled in Creo assemblies. The Confirmation dialog box notifies you that the design changes that you make will not be propagated to the source models. It provides the options to convert or not convert the non-Creo models to Creo models.
When the top assembly is a non-Creo model, a warning dialog box opens instead of the Confirmation dialog box. The warning dialog box prompts you to use the Save a Copy dialog box to save the non-Creo top assembly model as a Creo Translated Image Model (TIM).
yes—Opens the Confirmation dialog box when you initiate design changes to the non-Creo models that are assembled in Creo assemblies. When the top assembly is a non-Creo model, this configuration option opens a warning dialog box that prompts you to use the Save a Copy dialog box.
no—Does not open the Confirmation dialog box or the warning dialog box.
non_creo_model_dependency_check
conflicts_dialog*, warn_message, ignore
This configuration option checks for external references and dependencies when you save the non-Creo models in Creo.
You can set the non_creo_model_dependency_check configuration option to the following values:
conflicts_dialog—The Conflicts dialog box by default warns you about the existence of the external references and dependencies of the non-Creo models.
warn_messageCreo message area warns you about the external references and dependencies of the non-Creo models.
ignore—The Conflicts dialog box or the message area does not warn you about the existence of the external references and dependencies of the non-Creo models.
sync_data_import_profile
never*, update, recreate
Specifies how the latest import profiles saved to disc are used in synchronizing the data of the non-Creo models when these models are opened in Creo.
You can set the sync_data_import_profile configuration option to the following values:
never—Does not synchronize the non-Creo models with the latest import profile settings. This is the default.
update—Updates the Creo wrapper data representing the non-Creo data to the latest import profile settings. For more information on which import options are updated when you update the profile see Syncing Import Profile data.
recreate—Discards the existing wrapper data and recreates this data when it is corrupt. This value of the sync_data_import_profile configuration option is only supported in Creo Distributed Batch.
