1. Select a view to modify.

2. Right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The Drawing View dialog box opens.

3. Select View States on the Categories list.

4. Select the Explode components in view check box to explode the view.

5. Choose an Assembly explode state from the list to use a configured assembly explode state.

6. Click Customize Explode State to create a new or customize an existing explode state. The Explode Position dialog box opens and the SEL MOVE menu appears.

7. Select the Motion Type and other options in the Explode Position dialog box.

8. Select a component in the view and move it to the desired location.

9. Click OK.

10. Click Apply to configure additional drawing view options or OK to quit.
