Material Property
Material properties are volume conditions in the Electric Field module pertaining to selected Volumes in the Flow Analysis Tree and are specified in the Properties Panel.
Specify the material properties, Conductor or Dielectric as follows:
• Geometric Entities > Volumes > [Desired Volume]
• In the Model tab, select Electric Field > Material > Conductor or Dielectric
Electrical Conductivity
The electrical conductivity of the material is specified for a selected volume. This property is specified only for volumes, which have a Conductor material property.
Relative Permittivity
The relative permittivity of the material is specified for a selected volume. This is the ratio of permittivity of the material to that of a vacuum.
