Working with Unresolved References
When a sketch has unresolved references, due to missing, failed, or not updated references, it is considered out-of-date. You can continue working on an out-of-date sketch, however, you must resolve all issues before you can accept the sketch. To fix problematic references, use the References dialog box. This dialog box opens when you enter Sketcher with an existing sketch and there are unresolved references. When you try to exit a sketch with unresolved references, a message prompts you to open the References dialog box.
In the References dialog box, the State column shows the status of each reference. The table below lists the types of reference errors and the commands available to resolve them. Note that all references, both valid and problematic are listed in the dialog box. You can delete or replace any reference.
