About the Manikin Population Database
Each manikin in the Creo Manikin population database is a self-contained Creo Parametric assembly. Each was created using data from statistical analyses of various populations, including size, strength, and reach capabilities, as well as ethnicity, age, and sex.
The standard for each manikin model is contained in the MANIKIN_DATABASE parameter. You can see which anthropomorphic database was used to create a specific manikin in these places:
Parameters dialog
In the Model Tree or graphics window, right-click a manikin and select Parameters. The Parameters dialog opens. In the MANIKIN_DATABASE row, the database used to create the manikin is listed in the Value column.
Manikin Library
Click Folder Browser > Manikin Library. In the row of the manikin you want, the database used to create the manikin is listed in the Population Database column.
After you place a manikin, use it to perform ergonomic analyses on your design. After you select a manikin to insert in an environment, you can redefine, move, reference, and save the instance for reuse. The original manikin remains unchanged in the library.
