This Casting, Forging, or Molded part includes one or more tapered features with a drafted size scheme. These features are subject to ASME Y14.8. Note that Y14.8 includes a caution statement indicating that you should not use a drafted size scheme for critical features due to the limitations of measurements being only near, rather than at, a given end of the feature. For fully defined features, a geometric tolerance such as a profile of a surface tolerance should be used.
