Result Display Options for Vectors
The vector display options are available only when the selected result quantity is Velocity. Click the arrow below 
Vectors on the Display Options group and then click 
Vector Options to open the Animation Options dialog box. Click to select the Vector Options tab:

—Switches between playing or pausing the animation of vectors.
—Switches between playing or pausing the animation of vectors.◦ Curved—Displays the path taken by moving particles as curved vectors.
◦ Count—Varies the number of vectors displayed.
◦ Width—Controls the width of the displayed vectors.
◦ Tail Length—Changes the length of the tail of a vector.
◦ Filter By—Choose what method to use to filter the display of vectors:
▪ Velocity gradient—Filters the display of vectors based on velocity gradient.
▪ Velocity magnitude—Filters the display of vectors based on velocity magnitude.
Move the sliders to the right or left to control the display of vectors:
▪ Min Gate—Move the slider to the right to filter out vectors that have a low-velocity gradient or magnitude.
▪ Max Gate—Move the slider to the left to filter out vectors that have a high-velocity gradient or magnitude.
