To Use a Sketch to Create a Piercing
1. Click Sheetmetal > Form > Sketched Form. The Sketched Form tab opens.
2. Click sketched form.
3. Select a sketch or click Placement > Define to create a sketch.
4. In the blind box, type a value for the depth of the piercing, or accept the default value. Valid values are from 0 to the value of the thickness of the sheet metal wall.
5. To flip the piercing direction, click flip.
6. To define edges of the piercing to round, perform the following operations:
a. Click Options. The Options tab opens.
b. To round sharp edges of the piercing, click the Nonplacement edges and the Placement edges check boxes and set the value of the radius.
7. Click OK.
