To Use a Quilt or a Solid Body to Create a Punch
You must have a quilt, or a solid body, in your project to proceed.
1. Click Sheetmetal > Form > Quilt Form. The Quilt Form tab opens.
2. Click References. The References tab opens. Select a quilt, or a solid body, to use.
3. To flip the punching direction, click Punching Direction.
4. To flip the material thickness direction, click Material Side.
5. Click Options. The Options tab opens. Choose any of the following operations:
Click Details. The Surface Sets dialog box opens. Select a quilt, or a solid body, surface to be excluded from the punch. Click OK.
Click Remove referenced object.
Select a placement edge check box for the rounding. Enter a value for the radius and a radius location.
6. Click Body Options to select the body to modify with the quilt form.
7. Click .

If you use an open quilt as your quilt form reference, the form may fail. In this case, close the tab, select the quilt, click Edit > Flip Normal, and try the procedure again.
