To Create a New Set of Design Rules
1. Click > > 
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.2. Under Sheetmetal, click change in the Design Rules line. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens to the General tab.
3. Next to Design rules, click Part Design Rules. The Design Rules dialog box opens.
4. Click

. The Design Rules dialog box opens.5. Type a name in the Name box.
6. Type a description of the design rules in the Description box.
7. Change any of the default values in the Rules boxes.
8. Perform one of the following operations:
◦ Click Save To Library to save the design rules set to the default directory.
◦ Click Save To Model to save the design rules set only for the model.
9. Click OK.
