To Change Bend Allowance Settings
Use the Bend Allowance page of the Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box to set default bend allowance preferences.
1. Under Sheetmetal, click File > Prepare > Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
2. Click change in the Bend Allowance line. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens.

Alternatively, you can select a body in the Model Tree, right-click and select Preferences. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens to the General page.
3. Click the Bend Allowance tab. The Bend Allowance page opens.
4. From the Bend allowance driven by list, select Parameters or Material.
When you select Material, the bend allowance factor is driven by the material.
5. Change the way developed length is calculated, select a different factor from the Bend allowance factor list. Y factor (the default) or K factor. To change the value, type a new one in the box.
6. To select a part bend allowance table from the bend table directory, click Part Bend Allowance Table. The Part Bend Allowance Tables dialog box opens. Use this dialog box to copy or delete a bend table.
7. Click OK. The Part Bend Allowance Tables dialog box closes. The bend tables appear in the Bend table list.
8. To assign a bend table to calculate developed length of arcs, select one from the Bend table list.
9. Click OK. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box closes.
10. Click Close to close the Model Properties dialog box.
