To Assign or Unassign a Design Rule Table to a Part
1. Click > > 
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.2. Under Sheetmetal, click change in the Design Rules line. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens to the General tab.
3. Next to Design rules, click Part Design Rules. The Design Rules dialog box opens.
4. Select a design rules table from the library or model list and right-click and choose Add to Model. The design rule table is added to the Design Rules section of the Design Rules dialog box.
5. To unassign a design rules table, select it in the Design Rules section of the Design Rules dialog box, right-click, and choose Delete. The design rule table is no longer assigned to the part.
To Assign or Unassign a Design Rules Table to a Body
1. Right-click a body in the Model Tree and select 
Preferences. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens.
Preferences. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens.2. Select the body in the list of bodies. To assign a design rules table to a body, you must have design rules tables available in the sheet metal part.
3. To add design rules tables to the part, click Part Design Rules and follow the steps in the procedure above.
4. Click the arrow next to the Design rules list, in the General tab, and select a design rules table from the list.
5. To unassign a design rules table, click the arrow in the Design rules list and select Not assigned.
