To Create a Fan Curve Offset
To create a fan curve offset, you must first set the configuration option enable_offset_fan_curve to yes. It is set to no by default.
1. Perform one of the following actions:
◦ Select a curve, and click > 
Offset.

Chain, and then select a curve.
Offset, click Chain, and then select a curve.The selected curve appears in the Offset chain collector on the References tab.
 | If you are using a chain set as a reference and you want to modify it, click Details on the References tab and use the Chain dialog box. |
2. Under Offset Method, select 
Fan Curves to create a fan curve offset.
Fan Curves to create a fan curve offset.3. When you select a chain, the quilt or surface on which the offset chain is located is automatically selected as the reference surface.
If you want to select a different surface, right-click the 
reference surface collector, click Remove, and select a reference quilt or surface.

5. Click the

7. Click 
OK to complete the offset chain.
