Behavior of the Related Symbol and Surface Finish in Drawing Mode
Consider the following, if a drawing contains a model-owned symbol or a surface finish that is placed as an offset placement:
• For both model-owned symbol and surface finish, the Edit Attachment is not available and is not listed in the context menu.
• All commands from the Menu Manager that open the Attachment command from the Annotate ribbon are disabled.
• Relating an offset symbol to a flat to screen model-owned annotation is not available in the drawing mode.

In a drawing, if a symbol or a geometric tolerance is included in a note, then it is not possible to select these embedded annotations as a parent annotation for creating an offset symbol or surface finish.
