To See the Model View
The model view displays manufacturing templates in the design model, grouped according to the Z-axis orientation and the manufacturing criteria.
1. Click the Model View tab in the Mfg Template AE extraction dialog box. The model view appears in the form of a tree. Steps are grouped by the Z-axis orientation, the manufacturing criteria, and the manufacturing template as shown in the following figure.
◦ The number adjacent to the Z-axis orientation denotes the number of manufacturing criteria associated with that orientation.
You can select a Z-axis orientation and click

to position the model to that orientation.
◦ The number adjacent to the manufacturing criteria denotes the number of occurrences of that manufacturing criteria having the specific Z-axis orientation.
You can select a manufacturing criteria and click

to highlight its occurrences in the model.
◦ The number adjacent to the manufacturing template denotes the number of steps in the manufacturing template with the specific manufacturing criteria.
You can select a manufacturing template and click

2. Click

to open the
Process View Builder dialog box. The
Process View Builder dialog box allows you to customize the rows and columns of the model view.
